It's spring clean up time in Kelowna!
Here are a few tips to keep the cost of your household junk disposal down.
If you have a lot of green waste it's best to keep it separate.
If it's separated and not mixed with other garbage the disposal rates are about a tenth of the price for clean Green waste as opposed to mixed garbage.
To avoid any surcharges with your disposal keep all banned materials out of your loads.
Don't include any drywall, liquid paint, tires or mattresses in your garbage loads.
If you have cardboard remember that you can take it to any of the local recycling depots and dispose of it for free.
